Koleston Naturals Uses Nature

I came across this recently and although it's now 5 years old it's still a brilliant idea.

The Outdoor Advert titled 'Natural Red' was done by H&c Leo Burnett advertising agency for Koleston Naturals in Lebanon. It was released in Feb 2008.

The creative billboard Campain for Koleston Naturals utilizes this natural beauty to illustrate the fact that this women’s hair dye is made from natural ingredients.

The billboards are strategically placed on a road side cliff with an unspoiled view of the sea and beautiful skyline.

The woman’s hair area in the billboard is cut as to capture the variations of this beautiful scene during the different phases of day and night, reflecting the variety of colors that Koleston Naturals offer.

The hair transforms from bright yellow to fire orange during the day. Once it starts to get dark, the billboard lights up, producing purple and vibrant coloured hair.

Excellent use of nature to promote the charcateristics of the product, don't you think? I love this innovative concept!

Have a breezy Monday,

Barton Perreira: Spring Summer 2012 Campaign

My Friday post is about Barton Perreira, designer of the ultimate luxurious eyewearline.

This Barton Perreira video is fabulous. In the opening, the model Christina wears one of the new Ribisi frames (which I LOVE) while pulling up in her 61 Austin Healey roadster.

From there you watch scenes of getting to a destination by avoiding the hassle of having to fly commercial... while wearing some fierce shades of course.

The campain concept was made Tim Cadiente & Barton Perreira, the music is "Oceans" by Puscifer and the Art Director is Juan Mendez. Enjoy!

Have a breezy day,

Diesels Global Warming Ready Campaign

Great Wall of China

This is another creative Ad campaign from Diesel. The Earth is heating up. The sun will blow up within 5 billion years. The human race will probably go extinct before entering the posthuman stage, or the probability that we are now living in computer simulation run by posthumans is reaching 100%. Now what the f*ck should I wear today?

Honda Advert - Hate something...Change something...

This is one of my favorite Honda's commercials TV. I like that Honda put a lot of thoughts into their advertising.

The story behind this ad was that Kenichi Nagahiro, Honda’s chief engine designer, hated diesel engines. When asked to design Honda’s first diesel he flatly refused, unless he was allowed to start completely from scratch. The result is one of the cleanest, most refined diesel engines on the market today. Cute bunnies, pretty flowers and rainbows show their dislike of dirty, noisy, smelly diesel engines by destroying them in exchange for something better. Brilliant!

Diesel Loves Nature

Diesel is an interesting brand which attracted a lot of attention through its bizarre Advertising campaigns. Here with its 'Love Nature while it lasts' campaign where Diesel encourages us all to love nature...

The campaign set in the Garden of Eden brought the user up close and personal to the Diesel nature scene, focusing in detail on each individual model and how they are intimately interacting with their natural environment.

This campaign borrows "fruitfully" from Hieronymous Bosch's well-known painting "The Garden of Earthly Delights". Scholars have suggested that Bosch's painting is a depiction of the Garden of Eden had the fall of Adam and Eve never happened — and the ensuing chaotic debauchery; unbridled lust as man's downfall. Diesel's point of view is that their brand is an oasis of sexual expression — wardrobe malfunction be damned — where all breasts should feel free to escape.

Diesel encourages us all to love nature while it lasts, and we're not sure if that means we should buy their clothes, but we still like the project. Nature. Love it while it lasts. Unconventionally gorgeous!

We are all connected

This is a fantastic promotional short from the WWF. I can’t imagine how much thought and planning went into each one of these shots, from the use of color, to the choreography, and camera work. Brilliant!

Why the Panda is black and white? :-)

This is a superbly created piece of animation which captures our imagination.
The world is monochrome until an invisible hand starts to color it in.
Unfortunately, one animal is asleep and misses the chance to be painted...

Surprisingly, this is in fact an advert for French kid's channel TiJi.
